GhostText is designed from the ground up with a zero-trust, client-side architecture. When you encode or decode messages using this tool, all cryptographic and steganographic operations occur entirely within the memory of your local web browser.
We do not have a database. We do not track your IP address, we do not use tracking cookies, and we do not log the contents of your messages, passwords, or files. We literally have no servers capable of receiving or storing your plaintext or ciphertext.
The application does not make any external API calls or network requests to process your data. Once the page is loaded, you can safely disconnect from the internet and the tool will continue to function completely offline.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixels, or any other third-party tracking scripts that could compromise your privacy or link your usage of this tool to your identity.
